URBNFit Long Exercise Bands

If you’re like me, you don’t necessarily have a gym close by, or a lot of room to set up your own gym. I’ve decided this summer I want to work on getting more in shape. I’ve tried in the past with not much luck. But I’ve found that what I need is a lot of different things to keep me motivated. I can do one type of excersise 1-2 times a week and I don’t get discouraged as quickly!

I’ve found the best workouts for my arms and upper back/chest is my Shake Weight (which is a killer workout) and URBNFit’s long excersise bands. They come in 3 different strengths so you can start with the super stretchy light band and work up to the harder heavy band.

The light is super stretchy. When I stand in the middle I can easily pull it all the way to my face. It’s a great start that makes you feel like you got a workout but you don’t feel it the next day and have jelly arms where you can’t move them. And when you think that’s too easy you just move up to the next band! I also have issues with shin splints and stress fractures. The heavy band provides the perfect resistance to stretching out my shins and calf’s to help elevate the pain! So in essence, 2 for 1!

This set also comes with a door hanger. It has a marble in one end, that you slip in between the door and door frame and then shut the door to get in some upper shoulder workouts. Its super strong and I’ve had no problems with movement or slippage from it!

So definitely check out these long exercise bands if you’re looking for a new arm workout! And if you have some already, what’s your favorite workout with them?

Surpah's Dual S Body Fat Scale

So if you remember from last week when I checked out the Surpah’s lightweight scale, I’m kind of in love with this company. This time around I got to check out the Surpahs Dual-S Body Fat Scale. This thing has all the bells and whistles if you want a little more info.

It measures your weight, body fat, water, calories, and your muscle and bone mass! You can also program up to 4 users. The programming is where it gets a little tricky. I mean it may just be me, but I had a few issues getting it to recognize that it was me instead of thinking it was my husband (which all the pictures are) But maybe that’s because he hadn’t gotten on it to get a base read for him or not. That was really my only issue with it.

It also has a quick weight feature which will just give you your weight if you’re in a hurry without having to wait and go through all of the different settings. The bonus is though, that the extras go through 2 cycles so if you missed a number the first time, you can catch it again.

Once you go through the manual and learn what all the signs are, its super helpful to figure out how or where that extra or less pound was from. I found I gained 2 pounds one day but then realized it was because my water weight was twice as high as the day before.

It’s a great scale if you like to have all the different settings to go through. If not the Lightweight Scale is great as well for just weight and BMI, Which do you prefer?

Surpahs Lightweight Digital Bathroom Scale Review

20141105-013813.jpg

Surpahs Shiny Small Lightweight Digital Scale is one of my new favorite things. We all hate weighing our selves, but as women its a necessary evil. I also have a love/hate relationship with BMI calculators. Its the same way when i step on my Wii Fit and it yells at me because it didn’t see me for 4 months and then give my Mii a muffin top. I get it. But I have actually replaced my old scale with this one! 1. Because it takes regular batteries instead of those ion ones and 2. its a nice all in one. You can program up to 4 people in it and it can automatically tell who is who. You can just step straight on it if you want it to register just your weight and go on about your day or you can turn it on then step on and it will give you your weight, BMI, and also give you an annoying little circle that tells you if you’re over/underweight or obese as you see below.

I have Hubby and me programed into it and we have no problems telling us apart. You can also set it to kg instead of lbs if thats you’re thing with an easy button press. It works quickly and easily and doesn’t take costly batteries. For something i love to dread its the perfect little thing! Oh and it also comes in pink 😉

Pure Raspberry Ketone Review

<a href=”http://www.tomoson.com/?code=TOPd46a368e948651c16047acfe78a90249″ rel=”nofollow”><img style=”display: none” src=”http://www.tomoson.com/images/front/pixel.png” /></a>

As a woman, we’re all constantly worried about our weight. Also as a woman, I don’t have time to work out regularly. And my evenings normally consist of vegging on the couch all evening and snacking on whatever is within arms reach. It’s a problem I know. So I decided I’d give these Pure Raspberry Ketones a try as I’ve tried other supplements to no avail.

Have I lost weight? Not too much, but I’ve only been taking them for a few weeks. But I do have to admit that i don’t munch as much as I did before. I don’t feel hungry an hour after dinner like I normally do! So I guess at least in that department we’re doing good right?

Now these do have an energy booster in them, which i can kind of feel after I take them, but its just a slight jitter and it does go away. So that’s the only downside to these. Hopefully we’ll keep using these and I’ll have an awesome update to post later!
